His place in the program

A dog with a legacy of his own

When Zeus arrived, he was the first Isabella & Tan Big Rope Fluffy Carrier in Central America, according to our program's records. His arrival helped define the level we wanted to bring Exotic Bulldogs Honduras® to.

Non-Merle
A deliberate choice for programs that prefer clean colors, or that need a non-Merle male for their Merle female.
Merle →
Isabella & Tan
A foundation of color and defined markings that he passes on to all his offspring.
Isabella →
Toward New Shade Isabella
Carries Cocoa: with the right female, the litter can move toward New Shade Isabella.

Precision before rarity

The rarest stud is not always the right one for every female. The best candidate depends on the program's goal, and for many projects that candidate is Zeus.

The genetics behind Zeus

His genetic profile is precise: he expresses Isabella y Tan, and carries Fluffy and Cocoa in one copy. To learn more about each term, see our genetics and breeding guide.

Four generations of ancestry

Zeus is the son of Midas D&Y and Tamara of Coffee Bulldogs. His certified pedigree lets you follow both family branches across four generations. Tap any ancestor to learn more.

His parents

His sire, Midas D&Y, is New Shade Isabella Merle, Fluffy and Big Rope, with a DNA profile on file with the AKC. His dam, Tamara of Coffee Bulldogs, is Isabella & Tan.

International connections

Zeus is registered with the AKC in the United States. On his sire's side, the ancestry of his grandmother Praga Lilac & Tan Merle comes from Serbia: his great-grandfather Hoover and his great-great-grandfather Unbelievable Cukibuki's have Serbia as their country of origin in the pedigree, and his great-great-grandmother Qualle, also from Serbia, is registered with the Serbian KSS registry. The line of his grandfather Dubai is of British origin, with dogs from Mexico and the United States; the pedigree lists Mexico as the origin of Bruno (Chavira). On his dam's side, the lines of Mr. Koba and Illumifrenchies Donna, parents of his grandfather Tamagotchi of Rsdalibull, come from the United Kingdom, and the line of his grandmother Lia XIV from Colombia. Three of his great-great-grandparents have the United Kingdom as their country of origin: Lord Toy Boy at Mackasbull, Rascal Ronnie and Primofrench Rolo.

Country of origin: according to the AKC pedigree. Lines of ancestry: program information.

What you can look up

Four generations: 30 ancestors with their registered name, number and, where available, a DNA profile on file with the AKC. No name is repeated across those four generations.

How we use it

When evaluating a breeding we compare this history with the female's to detect common ancestors, understand the family's genetics and document its origin.

Country of origin and registration are not the same. Registration states which body a dog is registered with (for example, the AKC in the United States or The Kennel Club in the United Kingdom). The country of origin only appears when the AKC lists it in parentheses.

The projects he is right for

Zeus is especially interesting for programs that seek precision: working without Merle, consolidating an Isabella & Tan foundation, moving toward New Shade Isabella or adding Fluffy and Big Rope selectively.

No result is guaranteed: each combination also depends on what the female contributes. That is why we evaluate it before proposing a breeding.

Compatibility evaluation

We evaluate your female for you

Tell us what you want to build and send us your female's information. We analyze the combination and tell you clearly whether Zeus is the right candidate.

Send my female's profile
  1. Tell us what you're looking forThe color, coat or structure you want to consolidate.
  2. Send us her DNA and pedigreeThe full lab report and her registration.
  3. We analyze the combinationWhat each can contribute and what we don't recommend.
  4. We give you our assessmentIf the combination is suitable, we coordinate the next steps.

Genetic collaboration

Every request is evaluated. Before accepting a breeding we review the female's genetics, pedigree and condition. Service in Tegucigalpa and international options. We also offer shipment of chilled reproductive material or transport of Zeus, depending on destination, availability and logistics. We share terms and fees once we know your case.

Stud evaluation request

The request opens a WhatsApp conversation and does not guarantee acceptance: every breeding is evaluated before it is confirmed.

Questions about Zeus

What made Zeus an important dog for our program?

He was the first Isabella & Tan Big Rope Fluffy Carrier in Central America, according to our program's records. His arrival set the level of genetics we wanted to work with.

Why choose non-Merle genetics?

Many programs prefer to work with solid and Tan colors without the Merle pattern, or need a non-Merle male to breed with their Merle female without risking a Merle × Merle combination. Zeus allows both paths.

What does he bring to a program focused on Isabella, Tan and New Shade?

He has two copies of Testable Chocolate, Blue and Tan, so he passes one copy of each to all his puppies. He also carries Cocoa: with a female that contributes it too, the litter can include New Shade Isabella. How a color is built →

What role does being a Fluffy Carrier play?

He carries a long-hair variant. If the female also carries or expresses Fluffy, the litter can include long-haired puppies; if not, his puppies can inherit the variant as carriers.

Zeus or Valentino?

They serve different strategies. Valentino offers the greatest genetic range in our program; Zeus, precision and a non-Merle line. The choice depends on the goal and the female's genetics.

Why do we analyze pedigree and DNA before recommending a breeding?

Because appearance does not show what a dog carries. The DNA of both parents and their pedigree let us anticipate real possibilities and rule out combinations we don't recommend. Send my female's profile →
